An SPE steering committee currently headed by Engr. Yemi Akinlawon provides leadership for the program with operational support from the Nigeria Council and its Sections Student Affairs Officers.
Donor Acknowledgment
Dr. Olumide Phillips chaired the SPE Lagos Section which also then the SPE Nigeria Section from 1980 – 1981. He considered this scholarship initiative as his contribution to the Society that at some point early in his career gave him the privilege of leading the Section and what is currently the Nigeria Council.
The leadership and members of SPE are sincerely very grateful to Dr. Phillips and encourage similar support from motivated individuals for development of our young members.
